Aleph Objects new facility Loveland
Aleph Lago boasts a creative studio for content production, several collaborative spaces, and an open office environment.
President of Aleph, Harris Kenny believes the new facility, which will house sales, marketing and support teams, along with the increased access to capital, will further strengthen the company’s growing status in the 3D printing space.
Located in Loveland, Colorado, the 6,500-square-foot, three-storey office, named ‘Aleph Lago’, will complement Aleph’s 17,000-square-foot ‘Mountain’ building, also located in the city. Aleph Lago (Lago being Spanish for ‘lake’) boasts a creative studio for content production, several collaborative spaces, and an open office environment, which have the added touch of scenic views of Loveland’s lake and highlands.
“We have numerous exciting development projects underway,” said Julie Pettit, Aleph Objects’ R&D Manager. “Additional space will increase our efficiency so we can get next generation LulzBot technology in customers’ hands sooner.”
The purchase of this second facility will also positively impact Aleph Mountain. Space will now be more plentiful for manufacturing, shipping/receiving and procurement.
Further supporting the company’s ambitions is a new $3m line of credit with Bank of the West. This added financial flexibility will be a useful tool as the Aleph Objects executive team makes plans for continued growth.
“Manufacturing continues to play a critical role in the American economy and we’re dedicated to providing businesses like Aleph Objects with the resources required for smart growth,” said Michelle Di Gangi, EVP of Small & Medium Enterprise Banking at Bank of the West. “We offer our industry expertise and global reach to help our clients and communities thrive.”
Aleph Objects believe its expanded footprint and buying power will enable continued leadership in the 3D printing sphere with Free Software, Libre Innovation and Open Source Hardware. The company has also confirmed regularly scheduled 3D printer factory tours at Aleph Mountain will continue, despite the opening of a second facility, and take place on Friday afternoons at 2pm local time.
