After its glittering London store opening last week, iMakr has not stopped to take a breather.
This week, it launched its new service, 3D Printing On Demand (POD).
Now, makers and professionals alike can get their CAD files printed at the new Farringdon-based outlet by either bringing the files to the iMakr Store on Clerkenwell Road, EC1R 5AR, during normal opening hours, or they can send their files digitally to POD@imakr.com.
After receiving the CAD files, the store's staff of skilled makers will analyse the files and, where acceptable, will 3D print them on an Up! 3D printer - which it claims is one of the most reliable FDM 3D printers currently on the market.
iMakr intends to offer an affordable solution and aims to ship the finished product in less than 48 hours.
Director and Founder of iMakr Sylvain Preumont is proud of this new service and welcomed POD to the store's growing range of products.
He remarked: "The Up! Plus is versatile and efficient for intensive and demanding usage, which is expected for the new service."
