Working to accelerate the growth of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology across the U.S., America Makes is the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, a network of dozens of companies, non-profit organisations, academic institutions and government agencies focused on research, discovery, creation, and innovation.
"I'm pleased to announce that Sigma Labs is now officially a member of America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute," Mark Cola, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Labs, commented. "Having worked with NAMII members for years, it was appropriate to take this step to further advance our presence in the 3D printing space, as we continue to collaborate with leading companies and organisations in the field.
Given our recent awards and the growing awareness of our proprietary PrintRite3D software, joining NAMII will facilitate broader demonstration of our unique capabilities and help move the industry forward."
Sigma Labs previously announced that it was awarded an America Makes research project for In-Process Quality Assurance, with the goal of attaining high-volume AM production of aerospace components.
