Sigma Labs PritnRite
Sigma Labs has announced the installation of its PrintRite3D INSPECT software Version 2.0 at Woodward Aircraft Turbine Systems group, an independent designer and manufacturer of control system solutions for the aerospace market.
The PrintRite3D brand of software has previously been leveraged by Honeywell Aerospace in support of its DARPA-sponsored Open Manufacturing Platform, and earlier this year Pratt & Whitney signed a commercial deal with Sigma Labs to aid its manufacture of aerospace parts.
This latest adoption of the PrintRite3D product further highlights its popularity among aerospace players. Woodward sees the INSPECT software as a key part of its additive manufacturing strategies as it works to ensure that their aerospace and industrial customers benefit from high quality products.

The PrintRite3D INSPECT software Version 2.0 is available as a data API platform and allows for web-based access to metal additive manufacturing machines. It promises users the ability to monitor 3D printing platforms, capturing and recording the entire build of a print.
Following Woodward in adopting the software program is Caterpillar Inc. The engineering giant has reached an agreement with Sigma Labs to install INSPECT Version 2.0 in its Solar Turbines division in San Diego, CA. Additionally, Sigma Labs has also confirmed the imminent release of a smart device app which will support the INSPECT Version 2.0 software.
