CMA Moldform Ltd is a Midlands based company specialising in the development and manufacture of rapid prototypes - both one-offs and production runs - optical art moulding, centrifugal and vacuum castings, and high capacity rotacasting. Producing high quality rapid prototypes, and offering reverse engineering and low volume production runs for assemblies and components for over 20 years, using vacuum, pressure and RIM casting has led to Tier One status in numerous industries.
We have been producing Scale Models since 1985 and began Rapid Prototyping in 1990. Our Art division has been evolving since 2005, to cater for the ever-increasing variety of high quality, specialist design work that we were being asked to produce.
Based in the Midlands, we have a highly skilled, creative and resourceful team to meet our client’s design and production requirements.
We have developed a comprehensive range of high quality processes that provide the best possible standards in both production and quality of service. We continually research new methods and materials to help both broaden our product offering and satisfy the stringent demands of our clients.
Rapid Prototyping & Production
CMA is a 1st Tier supplier of rapid prototypes to major companies in the automotive industry and numerous manufacturers, offering from one-offs to low volume production runs, working with supplied masters or we can reverse engineer items.
Our rapid prototyping department specialises in the manufacture of rapid injection moulded (RIM) parts, prototype parts, vacuum castings, vacuum / pressure casting, metal centrifugal casting and large capacity rotacasting. CMA can offer the service of producing exceptional quality master patterns and moulds using CAD design, SLA/SLS and CNC machining. We undertake one-offs or low volume production runs of rapid prototypes and we offer the service of reverse engineering products and components.
We work to the highest levels in master model preparation, mould tools, component casting and finishing, through to full assembly units. Our finishing department has a fine attention for detail, ensuring that every product is completed to the highest possible quality standard (ISO 9001).
Using a wide range of rigid and semi-rigid resins, flexible, high impact and high temperature resistant resins, we can produce dimensionally accurate mouldings and castings from a few grams up to many kilos in weight.
Our client base for rapid prototype manufacturing ranges through automotive, marine, medical, electronic, aerospace, music, film/theatre industries and engineering sectors.
