Fuel3D Labs, developer of 3D imaging solutions, has joined forces with mass-personalisation software company 3DplusMe to make its SaaS platform compatible with Fuel3D’s image capture technology.
The combined system debuted at SIGGRAPH 2015 trade show in LA and is the first implementation to be publicly announced by Fuel3D Labs, which leverages advanced 3D scanning technologies to develop new products for companies that want to harness the potential of fast, cost-effective, high quality, 3D imaging in their business.
3DplusMe was the first company to create an end-to-end, complete customisable platform for mass personalisation. From superheroes to sporting stars, the company has partnered with leading brands to offer 3D printed merchandise personalised through the power of 3D face scanning technology.
Perhaps the most popular application of 3DplusMe technology are the floor-standing kiosks which will now feature Fuel3D’s cost-effective technology to capture a high-resolution, colour 3D scan of a face in less than a tenth of a second.

Fuel3D Labs’ parent company Fuel3D, introduced the award winning SCANIFY handheld 3D scanner on to the market last year following a successful Kickstarter campaign. The portable device is an affordable 3D scanning solution aimed at 3D printer users in search of a simple way to capture 3D images.
