WATCH STRATASYS TALK TO TCT AT RAPID 2016
Jon Stevenson of Stratasys talks us through GrabCAD Print, the company’s new software which makes it easier for engineers across the globe to 3D print. The new cloud-based platform allows mechanical engineers to 3D print directly from a CAD file, taking away the sometimes tricky process of converting a file into an STL.
Stratasys acquired CrabCAD - the world’s largest community of mechanical engineers - back in 2014 and has been working on bringing the community greater access to its range of 3D printing solutions.
After breaking the barriers of full-colour prototypes with the J750 hardware in the year, here at RAPID 2016, Stratasys seem very much top be concentrating on software.
The new app will be available in BETA later this summer with additional rollout throughout the year to the 3 millions designers on the platform.
