3D Platform arrived at RAPID + TCT in Pittsburgh last week with several new product innovations including two new machines; the 100 Series WorkTable entry-level large-format 3D printer and the WorkbenchXTreme, and a new series of super-fast extruders.
A significant update to the large-format 3D printer specialist’s capabilities, the new High Flow Extruders (HFE) are available in two versions, the HFE300 and HFE900, the latter of which enables 16 x more volumetric throughput compared to the industry baseline, Volcano extruder and uses the world’s largest, spool-fed filament at 6mm.
“Our new line of HFE900 extruders are the fastest filament extruders on the market, and offer customers the flexibility to change extruders depending on their application and purpose,” says Jonathan Schroeder, President of 3D Platform.
Both extruders are available as optional upgrades for the 3DP 300 Series WorkbenchPro and 400 Series WorkbenchXTreme 3D printers.
