Returning to the TCT Show last week, UK-based 3D solutions provider, Laser Lines showcased how it's developing complete solutions for customers that reduce cost and time in product development. With a 26-year history in the industry, Laser Lines was one of Stratasys's original Platinum partners and currently offers both Stratasys and SLM Solutions range of systems covering both plastics and metal. TCT speaks to Mark Tyrtania, Sales Director at Laser Lines, about why the company is all about solutions and how they’re encouraging more companies who haven’t yet adopted additive into their processes to take a look at recent milestones, such as GE’s $1.4B acquisition of SLM Solutions and Arcam, as evidence of additive's growth and value.
“What better endorsement than GE putting all of that money behind SLM Solutions, it’s kind of rubber stamped this industry for us,” Mark commented. “Any doubters on the periphery, any CEOs thinking should I invest in this technology, they’ve really got to look at someone like GE.”
