Mcor Technologies is an award winning Irish company with a mission to bring 3D printing to the masses.
This quest began at TCT Live 2008 where they launched the Mcor Matrix, the first ever 3D printer to put multiple parts into multiple hands, liberating 3D printer users everywhere, expanding the market and accelerating adoption of the technology.
The Mcor Matrix is the only 3D printer in the world that can use ordinary/used A4/letter paper to make 3D objects.
Using A4 paper is quite a breakthrough as it significantly reduces the cost of using the technology; the ‘Mcor Matrix’ is up to 50 times less expensive than nearest competitors to operate and is the only eco-friendly option available. Engineers, designers, architects and students across education, dental/medical, architectural/design and gaming are now able to access the powerful prototyping capability of the ‘Mcor Matrix’.
Models straight out of the Mcor Matrix have the appearance of a wood-carving and are– ‘tough, durable and eco-friendly’. The final models can be treated giving them a smooth, shiny finish that increases the life of the part, making it even more durable.
Mcor will unveil the new Matrix 300 at TCT Live 2009 – the new printer will be smaller and faster than the Matrix while still offering low cost 3D printing – turning more and more ideas into rapid reality!
