Our client is a leading global manufacturing company specializing in prototype CNC Machining, Injection Moulding, Sheet-metal Stamping, and rapid plastic/metal prototyping is currently seeking a strong Technical Sales candidate in the UK.

This person will have a proven record for developing relationships with new clients while acting as the liaison between the Manufacturing team and existing external Customers. The Technical Sales Associate will work with a manufacturing team in Asia while building the UK business independently. This position is salary and commission based.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Excellent sales and business development skills for the introduction of our manufacturing services.
• Technical knowledge of plastic and metal manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interact with many different types of individuals, including executives, technologists, engineers, industrial designers, and other business professionals.
• Familiarity and past experience with consultative, customer-centric selling techniques.
• Understanding of the Sales process and Role of Technical Sales within that.
• Able to relate eloquently, intelligently and with conviction.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with “can do” approach to problem solving.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in all aspects of the role.
