2012 Call for Exceptional Papers
Fresh from the success of the 2011 edition, Rapid News Communications Group is formally announcing the Call for Papers for TCT Live 2012.
In order to maintain the world-class nature of TCT Live Rapid News Communications Group is now calling for outstanding abstract submissions for the following sessions.
TCT Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing Conference
The TCT conference, now approaching its 17th edition, is characterised by high quality presentations from leading users of the technologies and industry commentators. For 2012 the conference will continue to explore the impact and applications of both AM and 3DP. Presentations should address the design issues, the business benefits in terms of time-to-market, financial objectives, material issues and/or part performance.
All submissions must be non-promotional in content and presented by companies that are utilising and/or researching the technologies for an industrial application. NOTE: No vendor papers will be accepted from companies that sell machines, materials or associated services for this section of the programme.
Additive Manufacturing Tech Briefings
Open to all major AM and 3DP machine manufacturers. Vendors are invited to unveil the latest and future developments in short, sharp fifteen-minute presentations, giving the prospective buyer an instant snapshot of what is hot and imminent from each of the major players.
In addition papers are also being sought for the following sessions, there are no restrictions on vendor participation, but all abstracts must demonstrate an educational nature. Sales presentations will not be accepted.

Interested parties are initially requested to submit an abstract of 200 words about their proposed paper on or before December 16th 2011. This should include the working title, all authors/contributors and their affiliations. All submissions will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the necessary and exacting requirements of TCT.
TCT Live will be held at the NEC Birmingham, 25th–26th September 2012, and anyone submitting a presentation must be available to present on either of these two days. Please submit abstracts to Hannah Jennings via email: hannah@rapidnews.com
