Massivit 3D has appointed its current VP of Sales, Erez Zimerman as its new CEO after Avner Israeli retired.
Zimerman was selected after a rigorous recruitment process which saw candidates internal and external considered to take the company forward. The change is effective immediately.
Massivit 3D was founded in 2013 and has since served to deliver large format 3D printing systems of particular use to those in the visual communication spaces for signs and displays. Its latest machine, the Massivit 1800 Pro, was launched earlier this year.
Zimerman’s overriding goal will be to implement an expansion strategy in the pursuit of company growth, harnessing his experiences and skills in a number of areas. He has previously held a marketing and business development role at Matan Digital Printers; was the Asia Pacific Marketing Manager and Product Manager at Objet, which merged with Stratasys in 2012; and has worked in a range of R&D and marketing positions at Scitex Vision. This will be his first time leading a company.
“I am delighted to take on the position as CEO of Massivit 3D, particularly as it is a truly innovative and pioneering company in the exciting arena of large format 3D printing,” Zimerman said. “I look forward to further leveraging the significant market opportunities that our solutions facilitate. I am also excited to support our growing community of forward-thinking print services, fabricators, and 3D service bureaus in their journey of business growth, incorporating cutting-edge, large format 3D printing services.”
“[The selection] process, together with Erez’ dedication and proven results combined with his strong R&D background confirmed that he is the right leader to drive Massivit 3D to its next growth phase,” added Amos Michelson, Chairman of the Massivit 3D Board.
