Global engineering technologies company, Renishaw, has brought in industry veteran Clive Martell to head up a new position as Head of Global Additive Manufacturing. The former Delcam President and CEO will drive the company’s additive manufacturing strategy across its worldwide product group and will liaise with both development teams in the UK and sales and marketing operations on a global scale.
Having began his career with Delcam back in 1982 as a graduate, Clive brings over 30 years of experience in the software industry including a strong track record of revenue and profit growth and the successful management of the company during its acquisition by Autodesk last year.
In his new role, Clive will report to Geoff McFarlan, Group Engineering Director and will also be responsible for guiding the company’s additive manufacturing products line based in Staffordshire which develops new AM systems and healthcare solutions.
