Authentise Prosper
Users of Authentise additive manufacturing software will now be able to generate accurate quotations for design models after the company partnered with Prosper3D.
Prosper3D’s quoting algorithm has been designed to streamline the pricing process, recognising that service providers will waste a lot of time evaluating jobs they will never receive. During the quotation process, factors such as printability, the materials required, and how much man-power is needed to negotiate the job are all taken into account.
Authentise concurs with Prosper3D that this task should be automated, and so has sought a deal that will enable its users to access the quoting engines through the Authentise Additive Accelerator interface.
“This partnership shows once again how the industry can be accelerated by being open,” commented Andre Wegner, CEO of Authentise. “Our customers can now choose to switch quoting algorithm at zero switch cost – they don’t even need to learn a new software. In the end, the customer and the industry benefits because competition makes products evolve faster and they know they’re always getting best-in-class.”
“We are proud to work with Authentise to bring our quoting algorithms to additive customers,” added Ilan Sidi, CEO of Prosper3D. “For too long, service providers in the area have wasted time and money generating inaccurate quotes. This partnership broadens the reach of our advanced quoting tools.”
Access to the Prosper3D quoting algorithm can be gained through Authentise’s internal quoting tools, which are based on data drawn from machines, or via Authentise’s 3Diax modular platform. In addition to quick and accurate quoting, users can also benefit from printability assessments, rendering, and file conversion features.
