Ackuray A135 Ackuretta Technologies
Built with high-grade, durable components, the Ackuray A135 implements Direct Laser Processing (DLP) technology, while introducing several elements to improve the reliability of the machine and the quality of the prints.
Professional 3D printer manufacturer, Ackuretta Technologies has released a new 3D printing system with eight engineering-grade resin materials ideal for a range of different industries.
The Ackuray A135 3D printer, compatible with eight innovative resins – Four of which were developed by Ackuray – is suitable for the jewellery, dentistry, medical and manufacturing and prototyping sectors. Built with high-grade, durable components, the Ackuray A135 implements Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, while introducing several elements to improve the reliability of the machine and the quality of the prints.
Utilising Materialise’s Visualizer software, the A135 opens a wide range of applications for DLP 3D printing. The reliable software platform offers users a streamlined experience with great precision and customisation abilities.
As part of the launch of its new technology, the Taiwanese company is also introducing eight different resins, each individually designed to serve a specific purpose. Half of these resins have been developed in-house by Ackuretta. QuraDENT is a photopolymer resin with opaque optical properties and a matte finish, ideal for printing dental models that require high accuracy and a high dimensional stability. QuraGP, considered excellent for printing functional prototypes, is designed to stimulate standard ABS plastics, offering durability, low shrinkage and chemical and impact resistance. Ideal for surgical guides, QuraCLEAR is a clear photopolymer resin with the ability to print parts with near optical transparency. And the QuraWAX offers a smooth surface finish with high wax content for easy casting performance, making it highly suitable for jewellery and dental casting applications.

The remaining four resins launched with the A135 – the Detax Freeprint Mould, Detax Freeprint Shell, Detax Freeprint Cast 2.0 and Detax Freeprint Splint – were developed by polymer chemistry company, Detax.
Ackuretta’s latest technology provides a build envelope of 135 x 76 x 200 mm with 70 micron resolution on X and Y. Featuring a closed-loop brushless servo control of the z-axis the Ackuray A135 boasts resolutions of up to 1 µm increments ensuring an incredible level of accuracy. Its design also has very few moving parts, making it highly reliable and easy to operate.
“The A135 embodies the innovation and value that Ackuretta has set out to achieve in order to revolutionise the additive manufacturing industry,” said Ayush Bagla, Managing Director of Ackuretta Technologies. “By incorporating DLP technology in a flexible, high-precision 3D printer, we are set to provide the product manufacturing industry with the speed and accuracy necessary to deploy 3D printing in viable business models.”
