3D Next Level installs first Massivit 1800 3D Printer in Benelux
3D Next Level, a 3D printing service bureau in the Benelux region, has installed a Massivit 1800 additive manufacturing platform.
The company decided to invest in a large format machine designed for visual communication applications in a bid to appeal to a more diverse array of projects and clients. 3D Next Level was enticed to purchase the Massivit 1800 while attending the RapidPro trade show by Massivit distributor, Digital Dot. Encouraged by the scale of prints that can be outputted from the machine, 3D Next Level believe it enables them to offer something it hasn’t been able to before.
“The Massivit 1800 is the last piece of the puzzle,” commented Lennart van den Doel, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of 3D Next Level. “With this solution, we can truly stand out from the competition as we are the only company in Benelux to offer large format 3D printing with the capability to produce attention-grabbing models. I believe these applications will genuinely increase our clients’ customer interaction and exposure.
“For me, the capability to create huge, eye-catching models unlocks the door to new and varied business opportunities as it enables our customers to better engage with their audience.”
In the not too distant past, the Massivit 1800 machine has been utilised to produce pop-up stores for Louis Vuitton and Comi-Con costumes for young wheelchair users. Its build volume measures 145 x 111 x 180 cm, the machine offers the ability to add a second print head, and it can print in high resolution. 3D Next Level has already began using the machine, and Digital Dot is expecting it to be a key component of the service provider's 3D printing offering.
“We are delighted that 3D Next Level has chosen the Massivit 1800,” said Nico Desmedt, Founder and Owner of Digital Dot, the supplier of the machine. “Given Lennart’s passion, we are confident that the Massivit 1800 will prove integral to 3D Next level’s growing success. This sale is reflective of how companies are investing in the latest solutions to ignite new levels of creativity, boost their profit margins and enhance their competitive edge.”
