SLM Solutions was well received at the Paris Airshow 2013, which ran from June 17th-23rd.

The German manufacturer of equipment for additive manufacturing systems enjoyed a number of interesting discussions during the show at Le Bourget on the BDLI association booth in Hall 2.

SLM Solutions gave an insight into a wide range of innovative products and technology in the field of additive manufacturing
systems at Le Bourget. The company presented the laser melting system SLM 125 HL and informed about the larger
machines SLM 280HL and SLM 500 HL. SLM Solutions showed the latest developments and products, which are setting
the way to the aviation and aerospace industry. The booth with the laser melting system SLM 125 HL was heavily crowded.
A large number of qualified calls and a lot of demands are the result of participation in Le Bourget.

The Selective Laser Melting Systems produce highly complex metal components using fine metal powders from 3D CAD-
data files. The extremely economical systems are suitable for research and development environments, as well as for production areas. With the patented new bidirectional loader movement the systems are becoming the fastest systems available. Furthermore the systems offer a safe filter system and highly efficient protective gas consumption due to internal recirculation of inert gas
at laminar flow.

Hans J Ihde, Managing Director of SLM Solutions GmbH, commented: "The strong demand at the Paris Air Show shows that the
ALM technology in 2013 is still on course for growth. The globalisation of competition in the aerospace industry is currently experiencing a great dynamic.

"The Paris Air Show as the world's largest trade fair provides an excellent opportunity to
showcase our solutions to a wide range of customers, the expansion of business and the entry into new markets to improve
the international market position."

Henner Schöneborn, Technical Director, added: "We have many years of experience
cooperation in research and development with reknowned institutes and universities, as well as cooperation with leading
manufacturers in the aerospace industry. This will be a good base to be successful on a wider international basis. Our
systems give companies the chance to optimise their production in a more efficient and independent way."
