Paul Maloney has been appointed as the new Sales and Service Vice-President at Solidscape.Solidscape has announced the appointment of a new Vice-President of Sales and Service at its Merrimack, New Hampshire, offices.
The company is a subsidiary of Stratasys (NASDAQ: SSYS), the leading manufacturer of high-precision 3D printers for direct manufacturing applications, and stated today (April 2nd) that veteran sales executive Paul Maloney has joined the company as Vice-President of Sales and Service.
Paul will be responsible for global field operations driving revenue as well as contributing to business strategy and marketing.
"Paul brings to Solidscape over 12 years of global sales and channel management experience in the 3D software industry. He understands our customers' needs and has proven his passion for meeting those needs," said Solidscape President Fabio Esposito.
"Additionally, Paul has the leadership skills to take our partners and customers business to the next level," he added.
Mr Maloney has advanced through progressive sales leadership roles at SolidWorks Corporation, a division of Dassault Systèmes that offers easy-to-use 3D software tools enabling better, faster, and more cost-efficient design of products.
"I'm incredibly excited to be joining Solidscape as they continue to roll out the next generation of high precision 3D printers and materials," said Mr Maloney.
"It's a great global team and my experience bringing new products to market will further accelerate Solidscape's rapid growth in new verticals like Dental and Education."
