Stratasys Tri Tech training programme
The first Stratasys Authorised Training Center in the UK offers a range of courses to ensure users maximise their investment in 3D printing.
Stratasys has launched an Authorised Training Center in the UK which will aim to train and consult users and businesses on how to optimise the implementation of additive manufacturing technologies.
The centre is already up and running and is being operated by Stratasys Platinum Partner, Tri-Tech 3D out of its Stoke offices. Hence, the training plant is named the ‘Tri-Tech 3D Print Academy.’
Through this service, Tri-Tech will leverage its expertise in 3D printing technology to educate people in how to get the best out of Stratasys FDM and PolyJet processes through a range of courses. Courses are available for varying level of expertise, and include design for additive instalments and GrabCAD tutorials, for example. The goal, Stratasys and Tri-Tech say, is to maximise the trainees’ investment in these technologies by minimising production errors and material wastage, and ultimately increase the efficiency of adopters.
“At Tri-Tech 3D, we have been working intimately with Stratasys additive manufacturing for over ten years and have a deep expertise in its core technologies,” commented Adrian Painter, Group Director, Tri-Tech 3D. “We believe in the truly disruptive potential of additive manufacturing, however implementing it within traditional design and production environments without the appropriate training can be challenging. This is where we can add real value, supporting users and businesses small or large in becoming more efficient, productive and profitable through the effective use of additive manufacturing,”
Matthias Gukelberger, Vice President and Head of Services EMEA, Stratasys, added: “We are delighted to have Tri-Tech 3D as our first authorised Stratasys Training Center in the UK. It’s very important to us that we provide users of our technology the local expertise to guide them throughout their additive journey and Tri-Tech is the ideal partner to help us achieve this. It has a strong heritage in working closely with its customers to understand their business needs and provides dedicated support to ensure they get the most out of additive manufacturing.
“We will continue to extend this value in the UK, Scandinavia and Benelux via additional Authorised Training Centers in the coming months through selected training partners.”
