Optical measuring systems developer and distributer Gesellschaft für optische Messtechnik (GOM) has presented three version of its ATOS ScanBox at the CONTROL show in Stuttgart.

The ScanBox 6130 is a 3D measuring machine for components with a diameter of up to 3m and is the newest addition by GOM to its ATOS ScanBox series.

The fully-equipped plug and play measuring cells combine industrial hardware with reliable software for production-related inspection and quality control.

Its simple and speedy on-site installation expedites its implementation in the user's process chain and can measurably reduce operating costs. ATOS ScanBoxes can be transported from A to B and integrated into new product processes within a short timeframe. The completely integrated system includes hardware, software, industrial safety documentation and worldwide customer support.

The ATOS ScanBox has already been adopted by customers from the automotive, aviation and aerospace industries, in addition to customers from the consumer goods arena, including original equipment manufacturers suppliers such as Daimler, Volkswagen, Rolls-Royce and Bosch to name but a few.
