We are searching for a Sensor Electronics Engineer for Metals Additive Manufacturing to join our Process Physics, Analytics, and Engineering Department.

What you will do…
You will be tasked with conducting research and development related to additive manufacturing (AM) of metals across a range of technology and manufacturing readiness level.
What you need to be successful…
Education: A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Science and Mechanics is desired.
Preferred experience:
• Previous work related to additive manufacturing of materials and or laser processing
• Strong programming skills
• Strong data analysis skills with a clear understanding of engineering statistics is preferred
• Experience with real-time and/or FPGA Programming
Required experience/skills:
• Experience working in fast-paced industry setting or an Research and Development environment
You will be subject to a government security investigation and you must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
