Objectify Technologies, a leading additive manufacturing (AM) service provider in India, is to exhibit at the upcoming RAPID + TCT show in Detroit as it eyes opportunities in the American market.
The company will have a presence at the largest additive manufacturing trade show in North America for the first time. It is looking to network with other companies and users of the technology as it aims to drive awareness of its services. India is among the world’s leading manufacturing hubs, with many a company setting up production or research facilities in the country. Objectify, however, has noticed some still import metal printed parts from other regions, and wants to help those companies reduce cost and time.
Headquartered in New Delhi, Objectify has capabilities across a number of production technologies, notably direct metal laser sintering, as well as selective laser sintering and stereolithography, and has manufactured parts for a range of leading brands. Clients of Objectify span the automotive, aerospace, and consumer products industries, and include Bosch, Honeywell, Coca Cola, and Royal Enfield.
Within India, the adoption and application of additive manufacturing technology is still nascent, but with an array of large manufacturing companies with locations in the country, there has been significant growth in the past few years. It has, in turn, allowed Objectify to grow, and as it pitches up in Detroit in a few weeks, the company wants to open a dialogue with some of the biggest and best users of AM.
“Having tasted considerable success in India, we are now looking to expand to the global market with the US being our prime focus,” commented Arpit Sahu, co-founder and Director, Objectify Technologies. “The US has always been the most exciting country with a lot of movement in the additive manufacturing domain.
“There are global giants who have set up production and R&D facilities in India. However, many of them are still importing metal printing parts from outside. This not only adds up cost, but also takes time. We want to act as a catalyst for manufacturing companies in India in their journey towards additive manufacturing.
“Rapid+TCT comes at the right time and right place with huge development taking place in the AM space globally with the US taking the lead. We look forward to meeting potential customers, partners, and 3D printing enthusiasts at RAPID + TCT.”
Objectify Technologies will be exhibiting at RAPID + TCT in Detroit from Booth #2158.
