Metal additive manufacturing technology manufacturer ExOne has announced a new appointment that it hopes will increase its market reach in the Iberian automotive marketplace.

The industry leader - which is well into its first year on the NASDAQ index in Manhattan - has welcomed Hermann Otto Suderow SL (HOSSL) into the ExOne family as an independent sales representative in Spain and Portugal for its 3D printing machines and the 3D printing of components.

HOSSL represented leading German manufacturers and specialises in machinery for the foundry industry with an impressive client list including leading companies in the region. Moreover, HOSSL is active in other industrial sectors such as the automotive industry and metallurgy.

Sales Director at ExOne Said Omar commented: "As we continue to promote the capabilities of 3D printing for industrial applications throughout Europe, we are pleased to have formed this relationship with such a long-standing and important player in the Iberian market. HOSSL has been supporting this market for over 40 years, assisting European manufacturers in their expansion and penetration of the Spanish and Portuguese markets."

Sales Director of HOSSL Igor Abendaňo: "We look forward to working with ExOne to bring digital part materialisation into Spain and Portugal. It is an honour to participate with ExOne in the advancement of this fascinating technology, which we believe represents significant technological progress for industry."
