In the testing phase of the Pagani Utopia, a red light flashes on the dashboard.

Hypercar manufacturer Pagani is on the track with its latest sports car, a vehicle boasting 852 horsepower and a 6-litre twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG V12 engine, as well as a custom Xtrac seven-speed transmission.

With this vehicle, as with every vehicle it manufactures, Pagani was in a ‘relentless pursuit of perfection’. A dashboard warning, indicating that the oil pressure had become too high as the hypercar sped around the track, would therefore not meet the company’s lofty standards.

The solution to this issue can be found in the six-year agreement Pagani now has in place with Conflux Technology. The Australian heat exchanger manufacturer is now working to embed additively manufactured solutions into the Utopia’s transmission.
