The Alpenglow Hy6 is the latest version of Alpine's hydrogen-powered rolling-prototype race car. The centrepiece of this concept is the V6 engine, specifically designed by the French sports car manufacturer to run on hydrogen.
Described as a "rolling laboratory", the engine is fully visible through a transparent case. It is meant to be seen.
To optimise the engine's intake plenum and manifold system, Alpine turned to CRP Technology and CRP Meccanica, leaning on the Italian engineering company's Windform SP composite material and selective laser sintering (SLS) expertise.
