PrintParts has announced the launch of its SmartParts Integration Partner Program which will develop integrations of existing advanced manufacturing workflow software solutions.
Aerospace manufacturing firm JPB Système has recorded 80% reductions in lead times and 30% reduction in weight-savings as it trials metal binder jet (MBJ) technology for the production of flight-ready parts.
The German 3D printing company expects the pair of 12-laser machines to make the space outfit’s missions “more affordable and efficient by creating lighter, faster, and more robust space components.”
The material has been produced by Höganäs AB under license from Haynes International, Inc. and is said to be ideal for high-temperature structural applications.
The 3D printed electronic specialist has described the deal as a “win-win for both organisations” that will see its 3D printers upgraded with GIS’s hardware and software products.
Taking pace on 3-7th April in Chicago, the two automotive leaders are set to discuss “’similar but different' perspectives on the present and future of manufacturing in the automotive industry.”
