From the Manufacturer

Transforming Additive Manufacturing with the Axtra Workflow™

Axtra3D is transforming additive manufacturing with a new take on the AM process — a fully optimized, connected, end-to-end Axtra Workflow™ that gives users insight with each step. This includes updates to Volume, Lumia.X1 and Axtra.HS system, and introduces three additional components: Axtra.Wash, Axtra.Cure, and Axtra.Insight.

The heart of Axtra3D's innovation is Hi-Speed SLA, a groundbreaking technology powered by the company's patented Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) and TruLayer advancements. Hi-Speed SLA eliminates trade-offs between speed, surface finish, and throughput. TruLayer enhances this process by optimizing layer-by-layer control, ensuring reliability and reducing errors.

The Lumia.X1 comes with prevalidated solutions to work seamlessly with the top materials straight out of the box, no calibration needed. Axtra.Insight, with 155+ sensors across the workflow, captures detailed information from your process and puts it into a job report at the end of each step, allowing you to see your process in extreme detail.

Questions for your Axtra3D Hi-Speed SLA evaluation

How important is an integrated workflow? Standalone printers often require separate washing, curing, and inspection equipment from different vendors with no shared data layer. Integrated systems with validated profiles for each step reduce variability and operator error.

What is your material validation requirement? Pre-validated material-process profiles mean you can begin production immediately. Open material systems offer more flexibility but require in-house parameter development.

Is surface resolution a priority? HPS parts have some of the most impressive surface finishes out there due to its combination of high-resolution laser and projector capabilities. Not every application requires this detail so it's worth assessing what your needs are first.
