Ensuring Precision and Repeatability in Ceramic Additive Manufacturing: A Service Bureau Perspective

A live TCT webinar with Prodways Printers and Adva Cera on how process control, metrology and repeatability are moving ceramic AM into real production.

Ensuring Precision and Repeatability in Ceramic Additive Manufacturing: A Service Bureau Perspective

Live webinar | Wednesday 30 September 2026 | 15:00 BST · 16:00 CEST · 08:00 MDT

Ceramic additive manufacturing has spent a decade proving it can make complex geometries. The harder question is whether it can make the same part, to the same tolerance, a thousand times over.

Join Prodways Printers and Adva Cera for a live session on what industrial-grade ceramic AM actually requires: process control, dimensional accuracy and repeatability across batches. Not a technology showcase — a working account of how a service bureau validates ceramic parts for production, backed by metrology data and real components in alumina and silica-based systems.

The session closes with a live Q&A with all three speakers.

About this session

Ceramic AM is moving out of the prototyping lab and into robust, repeatable production — but only where process control has been solved first.

This webinar takes an industrial-readiness view of that shift. Vincent Icart, CEO of Prodways Printers, is joined by Dustin Williams and Nicole Brudner of Adva Cera, a US service bureau producing high-performance ceramic components for the semiconductor, aerospace, medical and investment casting industries.

Rather than theoretical capability, the discussion is grounded in production reality: measured data, metrology results and real part examples. It covers the full ceramic manufacturing workflow, how material behaviour drives consistency of mechanical and dimensional performance, and how a service bureau validates parts for production rather than demonstration.

The principles apply across high-tech, industrial and advanced engineering applications — including, but not limited to, electronics and semiconductor use cases.

What you'll learn

Who should attend

Design and manufacturing engineers evaluating ceramic AM for a new application; production and quality teams moving an existing ceramic application towards volume; anyone currently outsourcing ceramic components and assessing whether additive is a viable route.

Speaker

Vincent Icart | CEO | Prodways Printers

Vincent Icart is the newly appointed CEO at Prodways Printers. A graduate in mechanical engineering, he joined Prodways 10 years ago as an application engineer during his master’s thesis internship. He subsequently held key leadership roles within the company, including Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Throughout his career, he has worked closely with strategic partners and key accounts, particularly in the ceramics and dental sectors.

Dustin Williams — Vice President of Business Development, Adva Cera

Dustin Williams works with manufacturers to advance the adoption of ceramic additive manufacturing for high-performance applications. With over a decade in the medical device industry, he has a strong foundation in advanced manufacturing, quality systems and process development. He collaborates with customers across the semiconductor, aerospace, medical and investment casting industries to identify where ceramic AM offers an advantage over conventional manufacturing, guiding projects from initial concept through to production.

Nicole Brudner — Senior Materials/Process Engineer, Adva Cera

Nicole Brudner is an experienced materials engineer with a demonstrated history of leading process development and continuous improvement projects across both large, high-volume and small, on-demand manufacturing environments. She works at the cutting edge of ceramic additive manufacturing, expanding the production capabilities of ceramic DLP processes while maintaining high quality standards within stringent aerospace compliance frameworks.
