Introducing the re-engineered LulzBot TAZ 6 3D printer

TCT caught up with Aleph Objects at RAPID 2016 to find out about the latest evolution in the popular TAZ 3D printer line.

Kara Sawinska from Aleph Objects, manufacturers of the popular LulzBot line of open source 3D printers, talks to TCT at RAPID about the latest evolution in the TAZ line of 3D printers, the LulzBot TAZ 6.

The LulzBot TAZ 6 features a large print volume, self-levelling, self-cleaning and a modular tool head design for flexible material upgrades. Keeping with Aleph’s open source philosophy, users are free to use multiple tool head upgrade options with the benefit of an open filament format.

“The TAZ 6 appeals to both beginners and advanced users,” Kara explained. “The automatic bed levelling is a huge part of that so everybody from Fortune 500 companies down to the start ups as well as makers and educators too.”

The LulzBot TAZ 6 is now available for purchase for US $2,500 on LulzBot.com and through participating partners.
