The Additive Manufacturing Users Group has announced The LEGO Group as the first keynote speaker for its 2026 conference.
The event, which is aimed at professional users of 3D printing technologies, will host Ronen Hadar, Senior Director and Head of Additive Design & Manufacturing for The LEGO Group on its Main Stage on Thursday, March 19.
Hadar’s presentation, ‘Additive Manufacturing at Scale in Consumer Goods: The Case of The LEGO Group’, will tell the story of the Danish toy manufacturer’s additive manufacturing integration. Hadar has spent 15 years leading LEGO’s 3D printing efforts, from prototyping to scaled production, including the first 3D printed piece to feature in a mass-produced retail set, which launched this year. Hadar will share how LEGO has co-developed AM technologies that align with its goals of delivering affordable, high-fidelity products at scale.
Alex Roschli, AMUG's Director, Education and Conference, said, "The AMUG audience knows LEGO bricks stimulate creativity while engaging in play, which is great for teaching engineering. With Ronen Hadar's keynote, our conference attendees will receive creative stimulus to push the technology further.”
The 2026 AMUG Conference will take place in Reno, Nevada, from March 15 - 19, 2026. Other highlights include the annual Innovators Showcase, an on-stage interview with this year's recipient of AMUG’s Innovators Award, Formlabs' founder and CEO Max Lobovsky. The AMUGexpo will also be accessible on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and will include the Start-up Launchpad, featuring up to 10 newcomers on the expo floor.
The all-inclusive conference registration fee - which includes meals, drinks, networking receptions and special Wednesday evening event - is priced at $1,295.00 through December 12, 2025. Register for your ticket here.
