6K Additive has been selected by RTX Technology Research Center (RTRC) and the University of Arizona for the America Makes and National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) EARTH project.
Innovative Space Carrier Inc has established a strategic collaboration with the UK 3D printing company along with Japanese metal AM specialist Aichi Sangyo in a bid to explore the use of AM for the production of propellant tanks.
The first model, Tidal 3D Elite, has been designed for ‘functionality, convenience, protection and comfort’ and works as a removable outsole which can be worn over cleats.
3DCERAM will also become a partner of NASA, as the organisation leverages the printer to make samples for small and larger pieces of new materials. These materials will be tested in space and other relative extreme environments.
The 3D printed pharmaceuticals developer says the collaboration, which will include research and a platform technology license agreement, aims to ‘provide groundbreaking therapies’ in an easy to administer tablet formulation.
The home of 3D printing and AM in the UK, on June 4-5th TCT 3Sixty will bring together more than 150 exhibitors and thousands of attendees to explore the latest developments across the entire AM ecosystem.
The additive manufacturing company says the new corporate campus will ‘facilitate closer collaboration and engagement between research and development and manufacturing.’

CGR is expected to bring Roboze 3D printers into its Indianapolis race shop where it aims to use its leverage the Italian manufacturer’s super polymers and composites additive manufacturing technologies to support its INDYCAR SERIES entries.
