Nano Dimension has relocated its headquarters to the Boston metropolitan area to be in closer proximity to many key early adopters of its Printed Electronics and Micro Additive Manufacturing technologies.
The company believes Callanan’s ‘vast operational experience and business understanding’ will help continue its growth in what it views as a ‘rapidly developing sector.’
Scan the World will use the 3D scanning specialist’s handheld Artec Eva to capture the objects for free viewing, sharing, downloading and 3D printing via the platform that’s been described as ‘a museum without walls.’
The company says the partnership with Siemens’ IoT consultancy and solutions integration arm will support development at its new 90,square foot Applied Digital Manufacturing Center (ADMC).
The two companies are set to work together to identify collaborative commercial and government projects, and further advance electron beam (eBeam) powder bed fusion (PBF) technology.
The deal will see Markforged integrate Teton’s technology as an add-on to its own Eiger software solution to provide customers with a streamlined cloud-based workflow
The new machine employs the same fast 3D printing process as Nexa3D’s NXE 400 and NXD 200 3D printers and is said to be an ideal entry point for designers, engineers and manufacturers.
The new SLA 750 and SLA 750 Dual 3D printers alongside post-processing solution and materials are said to offer an ‘industry-leading combination of print size, speed, accuracy, and resolution.'
