Metal Powder Works has developed the patented, non-thermal DirectPowder process to manufacture metal 3D printing powders.
The company was founded back in 2017 to deliver high-quality and defect-free powder feedstock to such industries as aerospace, defence, maritime, and energy. Today, it has a portfolio of more than 30 powder products, and this year announced plans to scale from 100 tons per year to 800 tons per year by the middle of 2027.
Barnes joins the podcast to discuss the advantages of its non-thermal powder production process, the expansion of its materials portfolio, and how it will navigate its short-term growth plans.
