We saw this in the recent partnership between Stratasys and Siemens on the huge Robotic Composite 3D Demonstrator which combines Stratasys’ additive manufacturing knowledge and Siemens’s manufacturing software expertise to build a machine that can produce large complex composite parts at rapid speeds.
Throughout the talk we hear examples of how Siemens is pushing this through other partnerships with high-profile machine manufacturers, and what challenges the industry faces to truly integrate 3D printing into large scale manufacturing workflows.
