We speak with PostProcess at RAPID 2016 about addressing that crucial "third step" in the 3D printing process - post processing. Founder and CTO, Daniel Hutchinson and newly appointed CEO, Jeff Mize introduce the company’s latest innovation, the DECI Duo, the first product from its Hybrid Series of machines which automates support removal and surface finishing operations in a single system. As well as decreasing the machine footprint for customer workspaces, the DECI Duo massively cuts down on operation time. For example, a part that might have taken around three hours to process with PostProcess’ original technology, now only takes between 30-40 minutes with this hybrid series.
