Quickparts completes $2.5m upgrade to HQ

Quickparts has completed a 2.5 million USD upgrade to its Seattle, WA headquarters.

The improvements to the facility, the company says, formally establish the site as an 'aerospace & defence centre of excellence.'

With the investment, Quickparts has strengthened its expertise in high-fidelity casting patterns and advanced stereolithography.

Now, Quickparts is confident it can deliver higher throughput, increased repeatability and greater fidelity for precision investment casting patterns. The expansion of this capability, Quickparts suggests, will bolster the service it provides to manufacturers of drone, satellite, propulsion, aviation and defence applications.

One notable upgrade to its service offering is the Quick Mould solution, which is now available across North America, as well as Europe. This capability, according to Quickparts, will enable the delivery of production-quality moulded parts in days. One case in Europe has seen Quickparts deliver a luxury vehicle button, which has been redesigned, tooled and moulded in four days.

“For more than three decades, we’ve been driving and redefining global manufacturing – delivering continuous innovation across on-demand services,” said Avi Reichental, CEO of Quickparts. “As we continue to build upon our rich history and proven track record of innovation to help companies rapidly address their most complex manufacturing challenges, today’s announcements reflect this ongoing vision and commitment to our customers.”

“The addition of enhanced SLA capabilities and the Seattle expansion represent significant steps in strengthening our global manufacturing footprint,” said Peter Jacobsen, EMEA President at Quickparts. “Seeing the strong momentum of Quick Mould across Europe, I’m especially excited that our multinational customers will now have access to this transformative technology.”
