Reuters has reported that influential proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services has recommended that Stratasys shareholders reject the proposed Desktop Metal merger.
After the re-election of all director nominees to the Nano Dimension Board at its AGM in September 2023, and the stepping down of CEO Yoav Stern from the role of Chairman, the company has announced Dr. Yoav Nissan-Cohen as the new Chairman.
Stratasys has issued a statement in response to a September 13 press release from 3D Systems about an improved merger offer. Stratasys says the proposal referenced by 3D Systems did not revise terms of the already rejected offer from September 6.
Nano Dimension, the largest shareholder in Stratasys after it purchased a further 12% of shares in July 2022, has announced that it opposes and intends to vote against Stratasys’ proposed merger with Desktop Metal.
3D Systems has announced that it has delivered a signer merger agreement to Stratasys, substantially in the form shared with the Stratasys Board on September 6, 2023. The agreement will now be filed on Form 8-K with the SEC by 3D Systems.
Velo3D has announced that Michelle Sidwell as joined the company as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. Velo3D says that Sidwell will support the company’s growth objectives as it looks to scale revenue.
