When you’re opening “the world’s largest 3D printing store” you need to do it properly, with some gusto. iMakr couldn’t be accused of going under the radar with their stellar grand opening line-up.
It’s like the Glastonbury of 3D printing at the ribbon cutting ceremony, except hopefully a lot less muddy. There’ll be champagne and canapés, (which we’re sure our Personalize representative, Jim Woodcock, will enjoy) along with a host of talks from inventors, designers and CEOs from who’s who of 3D printing.
Present as the flagship store opens its doors will be Solidoodle’s Sam Cervantes, the inventor of the RepRap Adrian Bowyer, 3D jewellery designer Mark Bloomfield as well as CEOs from companies like Cubify, LeapFrog, iRapid and Faberdashery.
Expecting hundreds of guests, iMakr will also be demonstrating the power of the many 3D printers on offer like the UP! and UP! Mini. It’s surely an opening not to be missed and could represent a significant step forward in the consumer 3D printing marketplace.
