About Us

TCT Blue Logo About Us

tct is a portfolio that includes a printed magazine, website, exhibition and conference that has, over 20 years, become the de facto source of information for Additive Manufacturing and Industrial 3D Printing in product development, engineering and manufacturing. More than this, tct is a community of users, experts, vendors, consultants and thought leaders that is growing the AM and 3D Printing industry for all.

Established at the birth of 'Rapid Prototyping' technologies in the early 1990s, tct was initially known as Rapid News, later becoming Time Compression Technologies and latterly simply tct. In 1997 we launched Time Compression Technologies North America — a sister magazine to the then Time Compression Technologies Europe — that has subsequently moved to other publishers and as of 2012 no longer appears in print.

With all this history it is easy to get confused, but there is now one simple message:

tct is now the only communication portfolio that covers AM and Professional 3D Printing in print, online and in person — globally.

In other words, if you want information on AM and Industrial 3D Printing, tct is where you will find it, wherever you are in the world.

Celebrating its 20th year in print, tct's print magazine is the oldest product in the portfolio — but like fine wine it gets better with age and is an essential resource for industrial users of AM and 3D printing technologies. The newly re-launched website continues to offer up-to-date news, blogs and comment pieces from across the industry, real stories from users as well as videos, social media and events information.

With Personalize — a portfolio of website, Newsstand magazine and event — tct is part of the Rapid News AM and 3D Printing Group: 'Covering Additive Tech from Hackerspace to Aerospace'.
