2. The Conference. Our speakers have a greater breadth, depth and charisma than you will find anywhere else. All are invited by us — we don’t pay them and they don’t pay us. And you don’t pay us either, because the conference is free to attend. From Reebok to BAE Systems, and from Zaha Hadid Architects to Adobe. It’s an orgy of information.
3. It’s in Brum. Seriously. Trains, planes, cars — all get you painlessly to within a few feet of the largest dedicated gathering of 3D printing and associated technologies in the world. Stay for the day and we’ll even pay your parking.

4. The Innovation Showcase. Take some time to reflect in the infinite creativity of humankind and the perfect symbiosis of people and printers with this collection of stunning 3D printed… stuff. Helmets! Hoovers! Hallelujah!
5. The Start Up Zone. I’ve given up trying to keep track of every new printer, scanner or software release that pops up these days, it’s a mugs game. But luckily my team aren’t so flippant and have conspired to bring some of the most exciting, innovative and — let’s be honest — brave startups from the world of making together for the Start Up Zone. If it’s new and it’s worth knowing about, it’s there.
6. TCT Introducing. With so many new faces to get to know we have set up a mass ‘meet and greet’ in the form of the Introducing stage. Get the lowdown on the whos, whats, hows and whys of the first-time-at-the-show pioneers.
7. TCT Bright Minds. Now an international affair, TCT Bright Minds is the result of cooperation between TCT, 3D Systems and Black Country Atelier. A few hundred young ‘uns will be educated on 3D design, scanning and printing and will get real hands-on training at the heart of the show floor. For the kids, innit.

8. Interplas. If you start to get 3D printer blindness, pop into Hall 4 for a veritable smorgasbord of plastic processing machinery. Interplas is a venerable institution but don’t think it’s past its best — it’s growing every time it runs (on a three-year cycle) and represents the pinnacle of plastics processing in the UK.
9. Seminars. In addition to the conference on the main stage dedicated sessions on inspection, digitisation and metrology, and software — along with to the ever-popular Introduction to AM and 3DP by the inimitable Graham Tromans — will run across the three days.
10. The visitors. With upwards of 10,000 like-minded people in Hall 3a, there’s no excuse for coming away from your visit without a stack of new contacts. After all, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
