NY Speaker Selection
A selection of the Inside 3D Printing New York speakers
Inside 3D Printing New York boasts an enviably complete and cohesive lineup of speakers, covering every facet of the 3D printing industry. From CEOs to users, from art to aerospace, there are dozens of reasons to head to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center next week.
Whether you’re looking for design tips or stock tips, a visit to Inside 3D Printing New York is a must. On Wednsday (April 3rd) Deloitte Corporate Finance’s Tracy Albert and 3DPrintingStocks.com’s Gary Anderson will explain ‘How Professional Investors are Playing the 3D Printing Boom’ — invaluable insights for anyone interested in getting to grips with the financial side of the industry.
The conference proper kicks off with 3D Systems’ CEO Avi Reichental taking to the stage at 0900. Avi has become something of a regular for events across the globe (including TCT Show + Personalize 2013 and International CES 2014) thanks to his position at the head of one of industries most influential companies. A lot has happened for 3D Systems and the industry as a whole since Avi last took to the stage, so there will plenty new to hear.
Another evangelistic CEO, Autodesk’s Carl Bass, will take to the stage on Friday 4th to deliver a keynote entitled: The Future of Manufacturing: 3D Printing and Beyond. Carl’s enthusiasm for 3D printing is well known, and his position just outside the industry (but plenty close enough to be completely in the know) gives him a unique perspective that will undoubtedly deliver value.
Stars from the academic world include MIT Media Labs’ Neri Oxman (Printing to the Nth Dimension), The University of Louisville’s Brent Stucker (Workshop 3: Reshaping Manufacturing: Understanding the 3D Printing Process and Simulation of Additive Manufacturing Technologies: Enabling a 3D “Print Preview”) and Dr. Krishnan Suresh (New Design Paradigms for Additive Manufacturing).
