3D Systems takes home FT business prize
Avi Reichental, President and CEO, 3D Systems Corporation collects the Technology Award
3D Systems has been recognised by the Financial Times Boldness in Business awards.
The 3D printing giant took home the first prize in the event's esteemed technology category for helping to transform manufacturing and product design across a number of industries.
3D Systems' reach is wide, ranging from medical devices to architecture, aerospace and education - and everything in between - and the company was delighted to receive recognition at the awards bash in London on March 20th.
Speaking to the FT's Seb Morton-Clark, chief executive of the firm Abe Reichental commented: "[3D printing] is going to change retail, it's going to change manufacturing, it's going to give entrepreneurs the same access to technology that historically was only reserved for big corporations."
"It's going to change everything, it's going to change how we learn, it's going to change how we manufacture ... and basically if you can think it and you can dream it, you can bring it to life."
