A major software developer and reseller for CAD and civil engineering design solutions has acquired MicroCAD, a well-established Autodesk CAD Solutions provider based in the UK.
GRAITEC via its UK subsidiary Adris announced the news of the acquisition this week (June 2nd) and stated that although a highly respected Autodesk Platinum reseller in the UK, Adris' design software and services base continues to grow with this deal, which strengthens its sales, support and consulting offering via five strategic UK locations ideally placed to offer the best possible service to its customers nationwide.
The combined company will have a turnover in excess of £17 million with over 70 staff supporting thousands of customers across the UK. The companies will continue to trade under their respective brands until the full integration is complete.
CEO and founder of GRAITEC Francis Guillemard said: "The acquisition of MicroCAD will enable Adris to offer a complete, high-end design and CAD solution to its customers across the UK market from four additional UK locations, as well being able to rely on the expertise of Adris Ltd in the construction engineering markets and its successful customer-oriented approach."

With nearly 30 years' experience, MicroCAD has the in-depth knowledge to develop tailored solutions and then supply, install, support and provide training and consultancy services to help its customers achieve maximum results.
