ASIGA PICO 2
At their fourth Euromold the Californian 3D printer manufacturer Asiga has launched the Pico 2, their next generation precision 3D printer for direct manufacturing applications.
The Pico 2 features Asiga’s proprietary slide-and-separate build process which is claimed to offer the lowest separation forces of any upside-down stereolithography process resulting in faster print speeds and superior print reliability.

The Pico 2 also features either 405nm or 385nm high-power LED light sources permitting water-clear resins for the audiology and dental markets. An open material system allows complete flexibility in using resins from third parties. Arbitrary layer thicknesses as fine as one micron increments can be achieved, making the Pico 2 suitable for the direct manufacture of jewelry, hearing aids and dental restorations.
