BEETHEFIRST
BEEVERYCREATIVE, the manufacturer of the slickest desktop 3D printer to come out of Portugal, has announced the first non-Beta release of BEESOFT 3.8.0.
The program's release follows months of rigorous testing, involving more than 30 experts and resulting in hundreds of 3D prints.
The testing resulted in major improvements being made to the software to make the program what it is today, such as reduction in slicing times through the integration of CuraEngine, better computer resources management leading to less memory and CPU usage, better printing of support materials and better stability and reliability.
The integration of CuraEngine needed new code to be written by the specialists at BEEVERYCREATIVE, with this code now being made available to the Ultimaker open source software community.
After receiving CE marking last year, BEETHEFIRST has now been granted GS certification for the German market and UL certification for the North American markets. With these new certifications, the company intends to expand the distribution of its product until it has a foothold in every part of the world.
To simplify the growth of its distribution network, BEEVERYCREATIVE has created three different entry-distributor packages and is seeking new contacts.
So what's next for BEEVERYCREATIVE? The company claims its open-source add-ons providing connectivity to BEETHEFIRST are on the horizon, allowing even current BEETHEFIRST owners to use the add-ons to their 3D printer.
The Beta version of these accessories will be made available during this quarter and the company encourages Maker collaboration.
We are working hard to ensure that all the 3D printing hype translates into real imprinted change," said Diogo Marques, Marketing Manager at BEEVERYCREATIVE.
