Rize One 3D printer
Rize One is also the only office-safe 3D printer, with no toxic particle emissions, mess or harmful materials throughout the process and without post-processing after printing.
Boston-based 3D printer manufacturer, Rize Inc., has announced Cimquest Inc. as a Rize Authorised Reseller. The manufacturing solutions company, headquartered in Branchburg, New Jersey, currently carries Mastercam's software portfolio in addition to 3D printers from Desktop Metal and HP and now adds Rize’s debut Rize One 3D printer to the line-up.
“We are thrilled to partner with Cimquest,” said Rize Founder and President, Eugene Giller. “As one of the leading additive manufacturing and CAD/CAM integrators in North America, Cimquest is ideally positioned to bring the unique material properties and process benefits of Rize’s patented, APD technology to its customer base.”
The Rize One is a lab, office and field environment friendly machine that uses a patented Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) technology which involves simultaneous extrusion of Rize’s own engineering-grade thermoplastic and jetting functional inks at the voxel level to produce injection moulded-quality parts with limited post-processing. Suited to producing replacement and custom tooling, fixtures, jigs and end-use components, Rize parts are watertight, have isotropic strength and are twice as strong as ABSplus. They also have a high HDT, can be sterilised and provide chemical resistance to acid, acetone, alcohol and more.
"With so many new introductions of 3D Printers over the last several years failing to meet customers' expectations, it is very refreshing to see how Rize has hit the mark in quality, reliability and performance with the new Rize One 3D Printer," Rob Hassold, Founder and CEO of Cimquest added. “With the unmatched ability to produce uniform part strength in a machine that is environmentally safe, we are seeing amazing interest from many business sectors such as: schools and universities as well as military applications in confined spaces."
Cimquest will demonstrate Rize APD technology and the Rize One 3D printer at Advanced Manufacturing Expo next week where Eugene will also deliver a presentation, "The Challenges Additive Manufacturing Technologies Face in Achieving Isotropic Strength."
