Birmingham based manufacturer CMA Moldform Ltd is currently undergoing a major restructure and has appointed a new Group Managing Director, Mark Lowe, with Peter Turnock officially resigning from the position of Managing Director.
As of 1st May 2015, all of the company’s main departments including Rapid Prototyping, Scale Models, Art, Industrial Production and Specialised Products will become separate businesses trading under CMA Moldform Group Ltd. Mark Lowe will lead the Group of companies, providing a new direction to each individual aspect of the company.
Mark’s was invited to join CMA following over 20 years of external support to the business and is highly regarded in the industry of synthetic materials, having worked for some of its principle suppliers.
The move does not signal a complete parting of the ways for Peter as CMA will be retaining the former Manager as an external consultant in an ambassadorial function, supporting the many significant projects that the company is involved with.
Peter joined the Company in 2007, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge that steered the company through a long recession, and brought significant growth of sales and production space, plus increasing the skilled workforce, coupled with high investment in new plant and equipment. Speaking about his time at CMA, Peter said one of his highlights was “becoming the leading supplier of mouldings for the automotive after-market.”
Mark, commented: "No two days are ever the same, and it looks to continue like that well into the future. We have an ever-increasing list of enquiries from both new and established markets requiring everything from low volume automotive, aerospace and medical manufacturing, to one-off artistic commissions, and from one to one thousand parts from our scale model production department". He continued: "My team and I will be building upon the company's solid foundations and look forward to the prospect of maintaining the ongoing company strategy of planned growth and development, with the continued support of our suppliers and customers."
