ORACLE TEAM USA Wins the 34th America’s Cup after historic comeback
Lined up to defend the prestigious trophy on the San Francisco Bay since September 7th, ORACLE TEAM USA staged one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sport, winning eight consecutive races to take the 34th America's Cup in its deciding race.
It has been a fantastic battle and exciting match, attracting record-breaking crowds for a unique experience. ORACLE TEAM USA demonstrated real sportsmanship, skill and determination to rally from a seven-point deficit. The entire team continuously made modifications to the flying AC72 todramatically improve its performance - reaching speeds never seen before in the America’s Cup.
