The DriveWorks team at SOLIDWORKS World 2017
DriveWorks, a Design Automation leader and silver sponsor of SOLIDWORKS World 2018, will showcase a range of its software products, including the Xpress and 16 programs which have received updates.
Celebrating its 20th year, SOLIDWORKS World attracts thousands of users, resellers, employees, solution providers, entrepreneurs, educators and students to celebrate the latest 3D CAD technologies. This year’s event will take place between February 4th and February 7th.
Since 2008, DriveWorksXpress has been selected by SOLIDWORKS to be included in every license of its 3D CAD package. To mark the ten-year anniversary of the partnership between the two companies, DriveWorks has made updates to Xpress and will present the latest software version to visitors. Tom Wormald, DriveWorks’ Technical Specialist, will take attendees through the DriveWorksXpress configurator during a hands-on breakout session on Wednesday 7th February at 10.00am.
Meanwhile, the company’s CEO, Glen Smith, and Vice President, Maria Sarkar, will be among a host of the DriveWorks team on booth #511 in the Partner Pavilion. Here, they will showcase the latest version of the DriveWorks 16 software, on-hand to answer questions from visitors to the booth.
DriveWorks is also hosting multiple Design Automation and CPQ presentations throughout the event. The first of which will be hosted by Technical Territory Manager, John Bannon, on Sunday 4th February. Glen Smith will also be speaking to MCAD Café, a leading Mechanical Computer Aided Design (MCAD) web portal, about DriveWorks CPQ for manufacturing.
“We’re very pleased to once again be silver sponsors of SOLIDWORKS World,” commented Maria Sarkar. “Each year we support the event and we enjoy being a part of the action by sponsoring, exhibiting, presenting and learning. If you’ll be there, come over to our booth in the Partner Pavilion and we’ll be happy to tell you more about DriveWorks.”
Announced this week as a silver sponsor of SOLIDWORKS World, DriveWorks also has three Certified SOLIWORKS Gold Partner products: DriveWorksXpress, DriveWorks Solo, and DriveWorks Pro. These products have been further tested by Microsoft and the company are recognised as a Microsoft Gold Application Development Partner.
